What a GREAT Trip!

God has really blessed me this summer in the middle of all my chaos.  All three of the camps we went on this summer were so easy and so great.  The mission trip was just icing on the cake!

We had such a great week and had so much fun!  We heard from God in a powerful way and many of the students and the adult's lives have been changed.  If you missed our Sunday morning report and video, you missed something special!  Anita and Ryan did a great job at summarizing everything our group went through.

A mission trip is about serving and helping, but I really feel like this one was different.  It was more focused on hearing from Christ first and then serving.  When you listen to Christ, the attitude, work and stress all change for the better.

Thursday on Mission...sorry this is late!

We had such a great night.  It was all about worship and prayer.  Very focused and very real! God spoke to so many students and adults...it was awesome!  Take the time to look at the pictures below...

Everyone received a cup (like above).

Take some time right now to worship our mighty Saviour and think about the following question...

"What is filling your cup, the world or Christ?"

Another Day on Mission...

I promised some pics and here they are...

We had an awesome workday and free night.  We checked out Cherokee, ate at Paul's and attended "Unto These Hills", a play about the history of the Cherokee Nation.

Continue to pray and for safety and a great work attitude.  Also, lift up the STAFF here at the Mission as they are doing a great job...shout out to the staff!

Day THREE and we are FREE!

Well, maybe not free, but we are still having a great time! We are tired and worn out, but God is giving us strength and encouragement to get us through!

Day Two is Through!

Today was hot and most of us are very tired! We had a great day and we were all able to get sooo much done. What an awesome trip and we are looking forward to everything else God has in store for us all.

Tonight's message was focused on our gifts and how we can use them to glorify Christ....Romans 12:3-8!

If you have not already done so, please send an email to the students and to the adult leaders. They are all working so hard!

Day ONE is DONE!

Again, everything is going so smooth...PRAISE GOD! The focus for tonight is Romans 12:1-2. What a great message to begin the week!

We are HERE!

Great and easy drive. We arrived safely and have gotten unpacked. We have also set up our beds...

Some have a pretty simple and small bed (Adrian Kirk)...

Others brought a queen bed with canopy (Logan Scott)...

Ok, so there is no canopy, but there could be!

The school is nice where we are staying...be sure to check in later tonight and later this week!
