Proverbs 8

"I love all who love me."

Wisdom has never been hidden, it is not a secret or something for only "special" people.  Wisdom wants to be heard, loved, and known.

Wisdom is for everyone and not just a select few.

When we chase wisdom, God will bless us.  We might obtain that blessing here on earth or we might receive the blessing in Heaven.

"For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord."

This is the Lord's wisdom.  This is His creation and He wants us to take part in it!  How can wisdom (reading God's Word) improve your life?

Honor

Righteousness

Rejoicing

Joy

Life

Favor

"For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies.  Nothing you desire can compare with it."

The wicked live in the shadows and whisper in your ear. But wisdom stands in the middle of town and SHOUTS at the top of her voice! She is not ashamed! She knows that those who follow her will be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams.

God tells us that *nothing* we want here on earth compares to the wisdom He can give us. Today, think of something that you wanted more than anything. Something you just *had* to have. How much time and effort did you spend trying to get it? How much more should we work to find God's wisdom. God promises that if we search for Him, we *will* find Him!!!

Wisdom is not beyond anyones grasp. No one is too far gone or without hope. Even Solomon had to begin his journey to find wisdom the same as you and I: With the first step of asking God.
