Proverbs 3 gives a promise to all of us as children of God. If we trust Him and Honor Him then God will provide leadership (v6), health (v8), plenty (v10), satisfaction (v2), and a good reputation (v4).
I can't imagine anyone who would not want the things above that God promises to each of us!
Wisdom is so powerful and so important and provides both joy and delight and satisfaction. We look to so many different things and places in this world to find such enjoyment, but it is only through God and His Word that we will be completely satisfied!
Why do we worry with trying to keep up with everyone around us? Why do we waste the time wanting this or having that? It is of the World! We should not envy or copy (Romans 12:2), but our focus should be on God.
Proverbs 3:21 "My child, don't lose sight of common sense and discernment. Hang on to them,"

I must never forget what I have been taught. I must keep in God's word to always remember what is truly important.
I cannot do *anything* on my own. Always remember that wisdom and understanding come from God. What can I do TODAY to glorify God with the wisdom he has given me?
God created the world with wisdom. Imagine what God can do through me, right now, if I allow Him! I pray that God's wisdom becomes my "common sense".
I want to see others as God sees them and treat them accordingly.
I need to accept discipline and "course corrections" from God as what they are: An act of love.
