Proverbs 19

Proverbs 19 really focuses on anger and our temper.  Look at verses:

11, control their temper

12, anger

19, hot tempered pay

I am usually a pretty easy going guy, but when I get mad, I really get mad.  I think what really convicts me about anger is that I feel out of control.  It is like the anger has taken complete control and their is no way for me handle it.  I don't like that feeling...I  don't want to be angry, I don't want to be out of control.  This is a constant reminder to do two things:

1. to lean on God everyday for His control and plan.

2. when I begin to fell the anger coming (and I can feel it) to back away or take a break from the situation.  Just for a minute to regain the control I was about to give to my angry feelings.

Our Pastor is focusing on anger this morning and I can't wait to hear everything God has to say through him.
